Fluid systems

Fluidics

Knowing what is in the tank

We build instruments that monitor and manage fluid systems in orbit, from the tank to the transfer line. Our gauging and flow metering also work with cryogenic propellants.

Gauging

Non-invasive: ultrasonic sensors bonded to the outside of the tank measure how much propellant is left and whether it has settled. No settling burn needed.

Flow metering

Detects and quantifies two-phase flow in the transfer line: how much is moving, and how much of it is gas.

Next: valves, pumps, regulators

Control of the whole transfer chain.

LUNA

Laser rangefinder for rendezvous and docking

Cameras struggle exactly where docking gets critical: glare, deep shadow, high contrast. LUNA gives the GNC an independent, lighting-proof distance, a safety check that stops an ML-based navigation from steering a servicer into its target.

0.1 to 100 m

Range error under 1.5 mm up to about 10 m, at up to 20 Hz.

Glare and shadow

Adaptive laser power and an optical bandpass filter keep the measurement steady in direct sunlight.

Low SWaP

270 g on a 60 × 90 mm board, designed to fly in numbers.

Rendezvous GNC

ADONIS

Satellite rendezvous made simple

End-to-end navigation for rendezvous and docking, developed with ESA Phi-Lab Poland. Fits alongside your existing GNC.

Pose estimation

A neural network finds keypoints on the target and a verifiable PnP solver turns them into a 6-DoF pose.

Trajectory generation

ML-generated approach and transfer trajectories, checked by an independent supervisor.

WIDMO simulation

Synthetic camera, thermal and lidar data with ground truth, rendered in Blender, to train and test the whole pipeline.
